The town of Niverville has lifted its restrictions on water use.

It says residents who get their water from the Spruce Drive water treatment plant can resume watering lawns and gardens but adds they must follow strict rules to avoid another ban on watering. That protocol means people with even-numbered homes can only water on even-numbered days and those with odd-numbered homes on odd-numbered days.

People in Niverville are also asked to water wisely by doing so when the least amount of evaporation occurs, either early in the morning or later in the evening.
