A man from Mitchell is lighter in the wallet after a hefty speeding ticket earlier this week.

Steinbach RCMP charged him after being clocked driving 133 kilometres per hour along Ridge Road.

The incident happened Monday at 5 pm, south of Steinbach in a 90 kilometre per hour zone.

Police say the 46-year-old was fined $613.
