The snowfall amounts have been light today, although there is more coming over the next few days. The mild temperatures are making snow-clearing efforts a challenge as the snow is heavy and wet in places.

Environment Canada shows that temperatures will be dropping sharply by the weekend, down into the -20's for daytime highs and -30's overnight lows.

Steinbach   1.6 inches / 4 cm

St. Pierre      2 inches / 5 cm

All streets in the city of Steinbach have slushy sections and are snow-covered. 

Hwy 12, 52, and 59 are all reporting as partly snow-covered. 

Trans Canada is partly snow-covered from Winnipeg to the Ontario Border.
