A 46-year-old man from the RM of Ste. Anne has been charged with manslaughter following a fatal altercation earlier this month.
Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Services says the investigation stems from an incident on May 3 involving the death of 49-year-old Cameron Huley.
Police say officers determined there had been a social gathering outside a residence in the RM of Ste. Anne when an altercation broke out among people attending.
During the incident, Huley suffered an injury and later died in hospital.

According to RCMP, the victim and suspect were both guests at the residence and were not previously known to one another.
On May 12, police arrested Jeff Wyness, 46, of the RM of Ste. Anne in connection with the death.
He has been charged with one count of manslaughter.
RCMP say Wyness was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
The investigation continues involving Steinbach RCMP and RCMP Major Crime Services.
