There was a power outage in Grunthal Tuesday night.
Bruce Owen with Manitoba Hydro says 41 customers lost power around 7:30 pm.
Owen says the equipment is designed to protect against overload. With the cold weather, there was more demand, causing the system to trip.
Power was restored around 10:10 pm.
Owen notes the system should not switch off in this cold weather, only in rare instances.
