Entry to provincial parks will be free for the entire month of February.

Manitoba Conservation and Climate made the announcement today noting that their parks have enjoyed an increase in popularity this winter as outdoor activities remain safe even with the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

While vehicle permits will not be required in any provincial park this month, entrance fees at national parks still apply and Snopasses are still required for snowmobiles using groomed trails in the parks.

The public is reminded that COVID-19 public health orders, including physical distancing from anyone not in your household, remain in effect. Crowds and busy trails can be avoided by visiting parks during non-peak times such as early weekend mornings and weekdays.
