A forecaster with Environment Canada says there is a chance Steinbach has seen the last of the snow in this Colorado Low.

Natalie Hasell says it is possible that the system will stay west of Steinbach as it leaves the region. If not, she suggests Steinbach might only see another three centimetres.

Hasell says for areas further north, including Winnipeg, there is only a chance of flurries Monday evening. However, areas further south near the American border are more guaranteed to see those additional three centimetres. Even though the temperature is still hovering around the freezing mark, Hasell says it is unlikely that any precipitation that falls Monday evening will be in the form of freezing rain.

Hasell says as the low pressure system moves out, winds will shift to be out of the northwest, bringing slightly colder weather for the rest of this week.
