The Steinbach Fire Department was called to a two vehicle collision at the corner of Reimer Avenue and Cambridge Way just after 4:15 p.m. Saturday.

Assistant Fire Chief Russ Reimer says a vehicle was pulling out of a parking stall on Reimer when the collision occurred.

“Looks like a vehicle traveling westbound on Reimer Avenue when another [vehicle] parked on the side of the road attempted a bit of a u-turn to turn around on Reimer and so the two vehicles just clipped each other on the front end.”

Reimer says both vehicles had a single occupant. He notes both drivers were looked at by EMS and released at the scene.
