As of yesterday (September 1st), producers can apply for cash advances through the Post-Harvest Advance Payment Program.

Producers are eligible for up to $400 thousand with the first $100 thousand interest-free.

The program is designed to help farmers generate cash flow from their stored crops, while giving them the flexibility to time the marketing of their grain sales.

The Canadian Canola Growers Association will be accepting applications by fax, in addition to mail and on its website.
