50/50 for Kids, in support of the After School Arts Program (A.S.A.P.) at the Steinbach Arts Centre, was a huge success with $92,025 in ticket sales. And none more surprised at the final total than the winning ticket holder Ariel Niemann.

"Shock" "Disbelief" "I don't win anything, I'm not that lucky" were Ariel's words when she was notified of her winnings this morning. When asked how she would spend the money Ariel replies, "I lost my job due to COVID, and the whole EI thing had me absolutely terrified. You know it only lasts so long. I work in the kitchen, I never expected that my trade would be shut down. I will be setting the money aside."

As for the Steinbach Arts Councils share, Cindi Rempel Patrick says, "we are so grateful and can't wait to have a blast with the kids at our After School Arts Program in the Fall"
