There was a two vehicle crash late Thursday morning in Steinbach.

Assistant Deputy Fire Chief Mike Penner says emergency crews were called to the Highway 12 and 52 intersection around eleven o'clock.

He notes there was one occupant in each vehicle and injuries are unknown.

Northbound Highway 12 was closed briefly while crews cleared the scene.

RCMP are investigating the cause of the collision.

One of the vehicles ended up on the median following the crash.
