RCMP are investigating a break-in enter and theft that took place at Lucky Luc’s Bar and Grill in Ste. Agathe late last week.

At 3:30 AM Thursday morning, Owner Luc Peloquin says two suspects were caught breaking into the restaurant on security camera.

“They broke the back door and then they broke the door to our storage room and they stole all of the cash on the property,” states Peloquin, angrily. The crooks made off with thousands of dollars and numerous tobacco products.

As Peloquin notes, financial losses like these, especially during the strain of the COVID-19 pandemic, are felt deeply by him and his staff.

“We want to make sure that we are surviving this, that we can provide jobs for our employees, and that we can give back to the communities that we are involved in. That is the point of being a business," he says. "When a break-in like this happens it is so frustrating on so many levels.”

Peloquin has publicized the security tape of the suspects in the hopes of identifying them.

“If you recognize the faces, the walks, or the mannerisms of these individuals tell the RCMP so we can get these guys.”

Anyone with additional information on this crime is asked to contact St. Pierre RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
