A male from Steinbach is facing a number of charges following an incident this past weekend.

RCMP say it happened on Friesen Avenue just before 1:00 a.m. Saturday. A person was found to be in the care and control of their vehicle while suspected of being impaired. Officers say he resisted arrest, refused to provide a breath sample and uttered threats toward police.

A 32-year-old male from Steinbach was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges.
