Police say the semi-trailer hauling feed somehow left the roadway. The driver received minor injuries. Alchol is not a factor but it is unknown at this time why the semi left the road.

A semi loaded with grain hit the ditch and flipped onto its side early Friday morning on Highway #52, south of New Bothwell.

Armin Dueck, Deputy District Fire Chief in Kleefeld, says they got the call shortly before 1:00 a.m. The truck appeared to be headed eastbound and ended up on its side in the north ditch, spilling its load of grain. Dueck says the driver was not injured.

RCMP investigated the cause of the incident and we are hoping to get those details later today.
