RM Of Ste Anne Receives One Million Dollars

The Rural Municipality of Ste Anne just got something to celebrate.

The Manitoba Water Services Board is offering up a million dollars for the RM to expand its lagoon.

“We have completed about 99% of our project design,” says Chief Administrative Officer Jennifer Gilmore about the estimated 2 million dollar expansion.

“We’re currently waiting to acquire additional lands for the project, which is why it is on hold,” explains Gilmore, “so we’re ready to go on the project whenever we get that land and we’re hoping to break ground in spring of 2021 and have it completed by the end of 2021.”
