Justice Minister Cliff Cullen

The campaign will have a dedicated focus on public health and safety, and Justice Minister Cliff Cullen says it will educate the public on the risky behaviors for non-medical cannabis. Manitobans are being asked to familiarize themselves with the laws around non-medicinal cannabis including use and possession laws.

Education Minister Kelvin Goertzen said government targeted this awareness campaign to youth to help get the message across. The government has also developed a framework for cannabis sales, use and safety.
