RCMP have released further information about a tragic accident in Steinbach Monday night.

It happened at about 6:45 p.m. at a home along Ash Grove lane in the city's east end.

Investigators say a 49 year-old male had been working on a pickup truck at his residence when the vehicle fell off the supports and pinned him underneath.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
