Four youths are facing a number of charges after a police pursuit in Steinbach early Sunday morning.

RCMP say at about 3:00 a.m., officers spotted a speeding vehicle. They say the driver sped through two stop signs and then collided with a tree at the intersection of Wilson Street and Hespeler Street.

The investigation led to the arrest of four young people who have been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, fleeing from police and dangerous driving.

Meanwhile, in a related matter, police say they have now located a red and white dirt bike which was stolen early Sunday morning. It was found in some bush near the T.G. Smith Centre.

Police thank the public for their assistance.
