Steinbach RCMP are saying thanks for the tips after identifying a suspected who was wanted in connection with a theft yesterday.
Police put out a bulletin after an incident at Timber Falls along Highway 52 west.
A male allegedly stole about $50 worth of goods including two pocket knives and a winter survival kit, then fled on a bicycle.
Police have now identified the male and say thanks to the public for the tips that helped them do so.

Steinbach RCMP would like help identifying an individual caught on surveillance cameras at Timber Falls Store and Car Wash.
Police Say a male entered the Timber Falls Store on Monday, December 10th and left with approximately $50 worth of unpaid merchandise which included two pocket knives, and a winter survival kit. The male then made his getaway on a silver Rock Creek bike going eastbound on Highway 52.
