The Ste. Anne Fire Department was called to a house fire late last night near Greenland. 

Assistant Fire Chief Roger Pelland says they were called to a scene about three miles west of Highway 12 on Greenland Road or 43N, just before midnight. He notes when they arrived, an older abandoned house was up in flames. Pelland says they were on scene until 4 am and adds the structure was a total loss. 

He notes they aren't sure what caused the fire but adds the house was uninsured.
