Niverville Town Council Awarded a $92,000 contract to Trotco Electrical of Niverville for the installation of walking path lights in Hespeler Park.

Mayor Myron Dyck says the pathway is already well lit from the 5th Avenue entrance to the picnic shelter, but the new lights will create a continually lit path through the park.

“It will be going from the Hespeler Park Entrance on 4th Street and then will go to the parking lot by the picnic shelter. This will then allow residents to continue through the park from 4th street and then all the way through the access off of 5th avenue so it doesn't go all the way through north south, but is a right angle.”

Dyck says this project has been in the works for some time and council is glad to see it moving forward.

“This has been on the to-do list for a few years now and there has been other priorities that have unfortunately kept this from being done, but this is the year now where another item on that Hespeler Park to do list is being completed.”
