The Town of Niverville was treated to a parade of flashing lights and blaring sirens Wednesday evening.

“I thought it would be kind of nice to pick up some spirits,” says firefighter Jason Hudson, about the parade of Fire and EMS vehicles he planned.

The crew posted their plan on Facebook around noon and then departed from the fire hall at 6:45 pm.

Hudson says the crew saw “probably 400 people” along their chosen route.

“One little guy made a sign for us and we had a guy on a roof,” shares Hudson. “There were a lot of cheers and fist pumps. It was pretty cool, and to be honest, a little emotional.”
