Lorette residents were dancing on their lawns Saturday as a mobile concert cruised through town.

“Last weekend was our Family Fun Day,” shares Event Organizer Ray Clark. “It’s normally a big festival but because of COVID we couldn’t do it.”

That did not stop the Family Fun Group from brainstorming a way to provide some revelry for residents.

“Maybe a month ago we made a proposal to the RM, and we wanted to do it at the rink, but they were worried about people gathering,” explains Clark, “so we decided to change the location.

And, keep changing it.

s that as they arrived on a new street, organizers would let residents know that they should look north later that night to see a fireworks display.

“Kudos to the band,” Clark says when asked for his thoughts on the day, “I mean, they went above and beyond and in that last two hours tried to hit every part of the town.”
