There was a vehicle and bicycle collision at Highway 12 and the shared driveway to Funk's Toyota and the Shell gas station around nine thirty Thursday morning.

Assistant Deputy Fire Chief Mike Penner says the female cyclist, in her late teens or early twenties, was traveling south on the bike path.

Penner says the vehicle was leaving the driveway when it struck the cyclist. "At this point, she is a little sore with some neck and back pain that they'll get checked out. Nothing life-threatening, and it doesn't appear as though anything is broken, but you never know."

Traffic was slowed heading north on Highway 12 for about an hour while the scene was being cleared.
