The four mayoral candidates in Ste. Anne have one last message for voters before heading to the polls on Wednesday.

Mike Bernier encourages residents to go out and vote on election night. He says there are things that need to be addressed in town such as economic development.

"Everything is kind of hunky-dory but there are some things that need to be addressed and addressed quickly," notes Bernier, "we need to move forward on daycare, we need to look out for the seniors as well and a little bit of touch on the infrastructure that is already in planning for 2019."

Incumbent mayor Richard Pelletier says he learned a lot in his first term as mayor and adds they had a great team that got a lot done. "I got experience so therefore I think we could do even better in the next term so I encourage everybody to go and vote and consider me as a candidate with good experience."

"People should vote Gerry St-Laurent because my passion has only grown even stronger now after this campaigning process and seeing the needs and wants of our community, give me, even more, the strength and the desire to be able to lead the next council and help out the residents of the Town of Ste. Anne" says candidate Gerald St-Laurent.

Don Simard says he would like to see a small strip mall with a grocery store and possibly a travel agency go up in Ste. Anne. He also adds being so close to Highway One, it would be nice to have a motel in town.

"What I would like them to think is that I’ve been in the community as a resident for 45 years and that I have some great ideas to bring to the table and I’m a good listener in that what they would like to see in the community and we can go from there," Simard says.

Voters will go to the polls on Wednesday.
