A northbound logging truck rolled over two miles south of La Broquerie on highway 210, at 2:30 Thursday afternoon, spilling its contents in the process.

“It appears the semi driver was going a little bit fast when he lost control on the curve and tilted over onto the side,” observes La Broqurie Deputy Fire Chief JC Normandeau.

Though the lone occupant of the truck sustained only minor injuries, the scene will take a while to clean up.

Normandeau advises that a small part of the 210 highway has been reduced to single lane traffic and believes it will remain that way well into the evening. He says anyone traveling that direction in the next four hours should expect slight delays.
