Police say they have not yet decided on charges against a 22-year-old male from Kleefeld after he crashed his semi into an RCMP cruiser.

It happened Thursday morning on the Trans-Canada highway in Headingly. Police say a 47-year-old officer had pulled up behind another semi that had been involved in a collision. While he was sitting in the cruiser with the emergency lights going, his vehicle was hit from behind by another semi. There were no injuries, but the police car was damaged to the point it had to be towed away.

RCMP say charges are pending.
