The newly elected Hanover School Board met for the first time Tuesday evening to nominate their Chair and Vice-Chair for the coming year.

After every ballot was cast and counted it was determined that Ron Falk and Rick Peters would be re-assuming their former roles as Chair and Vice-Chair.

“I’m very excited to begin leading the group of trustees, steering the dialogue around the table, hearing some new ideas, and getting to know one another,” indicates Falk, “It’s going to be a good term.”

Peters agrees with Falk saying: “I am also looking forward to working with this new bunch. I appreciate that my peers have enough confidence in me to re-elect me as Vice-Chair.”

Peters notes that he has held the Vice-Chair position since he was elected last term. Meanwhile, Falk indicates that the following year will mark his fifth consecutive year and eleventh time serving as Board Chair.
