A blowing snow advisory is currently in effect for all of Southeastern Manitoba.

Environment Canada says strong winds are causing poor visibility near zero in some areas. The conditions are being caused by a potent low pressure system mixed with flurry activity. Winds are expected to remain between 50 to 60 km/hr with gusts up to 80 km/hr through the night, tapering off Wednesday morning.

Environment Canada says travel is expected to be hazardous and caution is advised.
