The Steinbach Pistons have announced the pre-season schedule for the 2018-2019 season.

The Pistons will have three home games and three road games for a total of six games against three teams.

There will be a bit of roster turnover this year.

The Pistons have graduated seven 20-year-old players, Captain Braden Purtill, Bradley Schoonbaert, Drew Worrad, Daniel McKitrick, Mark Taraschuk, Mark Wilson and Luke Bellerose.

Defender Darby Gula is off to Bemidji State University and goalie Matthew Thiessen is headed to the USHL with the Dubuque Fighting Saints.

The preseason games will be an opportunity for fans to see their returning favourite players including Will Koop, Declan Graham, Matt Radomsky and Tyson McConnell as well as be introduced to the new additions like last season when fans met now Pistons regulars Brady Tatro, Easton Bennett and Tristan Culleton.

The Turnbull Cup and ANAVET Cup champions will start their title defences in the regular season Friday, September 21st against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines at 7:30 at the T.G. Smith Centre.
