It was a trio of former Dauphin Kings that helped Steinbach push their winning streak to 10 straight games on Saturday night as the Pistons walked away with a 4-2 victory at Credit Union Place.

Bradley Schoonbaert, who was acquired June 11th 2015 from the Kings got the scoring started early in the first period, scoring just 59 seconds into the game with Mack Graham and Will Koop picking up the assists. Schoonbaert would strike again less then five minutes later as a point shot from Ryan Carlson deflected right to a waiting Schoonbaert who tapped in his second of the game making it 2-0 Pistons to end the period with Koop also picking up his second assist on the night.

Dauphin never quit and midway through the middle period, struck for two quick goals to tie things up at 2-2. Steinbach's league best power play would get them the lead back as Landon Plett who was picked up by Steinbach on June 17th 2016 scored his 10th goal on the season, giving him the most on the Pistons and extending his point streak to 10 games. Tyler Anderson and Julien Koga drew the helpers. Before the buzzer sounded to end the period, Koga would find the back of the net after a hard working shift from him and Max Cavallini, pushing Steinbach's lead to 4-2.

The final 20 minutes ticked away with no real scoring chances and little drama, finishing in a road win for the Pistons.

Matt Radomsky, who was traded to Steinbach on September 26th 2016, notched his second win as a Piston making 22 saves on the night, including some big ones early on. The power play finished 1-3 while the penalty kill was perfect again going 2-2.

The Pistons will have some time to rest up as they won't see game action again until Friday night against the very same Dauphin Kings they just played. It's a back to back set as the two teams will do battle again on Saturday night as well.

Both games will be broadcast through the Pistons Page at SteinbachOnline.com.
