This cold, rainy september afternoon is a harsh reminder of the winter days that are just around the corner. The great summer we had has come and gone and so has the fall fun fair at SAC. Thursday turned out great the bouncer, BBQ, and face paints were a big hit! But lucky for you if you couldn't make it - It is not to late to register. There are still spots left in most of our classes so if you couldn't make it on Thursday stop by the office or call SAC and they will be happy to register you.

SAC has also started their exhibit season off on a great note. Eleanore Johnson's In the Wake of Disaster fills the SAC hall gallery. Her works are created from a handful of different mediums including acrylics, graphite and pastels. She uses photographs as her inspiration to create the beautiful and emotionally charged works that are displayed.

Next weekend on Saturday September 10th watch Cars 2 under the stars at A.D Penner park, the movie starts at 8pm but come for dinner and support the Steinbach Arts Council. ThereI encourage you to stop by to see them as they are definitely worth the trip down.will be face painting and entertainment - don't miss this family event.

For now,

Michaela is Steinbach's only source for community news and information such as weather and classifieds.
