This long, hot, dry summer has truly been a blessing for me over at SAC. Running the day camps this summer has been tons of fun and the great weather has been a contributor to the success of each week. Along of course with my two lovely assistants and each child that has attended. We have been back in time, we celebrated each holiday, set sail on a pirate ship for the pioneer day's parade, made a ton of crafts from only recycled materials, hit home runs at Southwood school and tomorrow we are going to the fire hall! I can't believe that after this week we only have one week of camp left - Year 3000! Now, I must say that I have been waiting for this camp all summer because even adults want to dress up as robots, explore the planets and make our own spaceships.
There are still a few spots left in our last and final camp of the summer and it's going to be a good one!
With school starting up again next month I have a lot on my mind. Not only will I be swarmed with my reading list but I will once again be teaching theatre at the Steinbach Arts Council. I am thrilled to tell you that enrollment is up and we haven't even had our fall registration day yet - Which is on the first of September.
