Our Art Adventures and Art X-Travaganza students (ages 5-8 and 9-12) held their first annual Exhibition of Art on Monday, March 24th... and had a lot of fun doing it! Parents, family and friends really enjoyed viewing the student's mini exhibit. Instructor Ray Heidinger says, "The reason for the exhibit is to showcase the art created over the 10 week period and also to bring the works of art to an audience. Art needs to be seen and appreciated by an audience but also gives the artists exposure to see how people react to their pieces. Some felt a little nervous at first but adapted quickly with the success of their exhibit. Artists were all introduced and the audience was able to interact with, chat and ask questions with the artists about their art work. The artists were exposed to many mediums, techniques and some famous artists styles over the 10 week period. This reflected in their personal art work. Many are looking forward to returning to the next session to continue their artistic growth and development." We're very proud of our young artists. Thanks to everyone who came out to show their support and enjoy the artwork.
