One of the homes decorated for the Christmas House Tour

On Sunday, Steinbach Arts Council held their 14th annual Home Tour and Tea-Christmas Fundraiser. The public was invited to tour five distinctive homes that are decorated for Christmas. Although it was Grey Cup Sunday, that did not discourage people from enjoying the sights. Local businesses and community volunteers banned together to make SAC’s Christmas Home another successful one.

The five homes featured were contemporary, country, European, modern European estate and country timber frame and even a re-constructed machine shed was turned into a warm and beautiful home. Each home was inviting, and had a very different flare about it. It was like walking into a dream. Each home was decorated differently and had it's own flare.

There was a tea at the Steinbach Arts Council end of the tour that featured Cakes By Rosalie. Local artists provided the entertainment for the Tea.

The four local designers involved with transforming these homes into a Christmas dream were Oakridge Greenhouse, Sunshine Greenhouse, Lisa Clark Design and Canadian Tire.
