The end is in sight - day camps are wrapping up and I am looking forward to fall. My new classes have titles like "Russian History", "Modern to Contemporary Art" and "Early Renaissance Architecture". The reality of finally finishing my undergrad is starting to kick in. But that isn't until April and I have 30 very busy weeks until then.

September is right around the corner and I feel as if August slipped through my fingers. I only made it out to the beach once this summer but the camps helped be throughly enjoy the great weather. Saying that - I couldn't help but restock my school supplies yesterday. There is something about september that shows so much promise. Perhaps it is the changing of the seasons that ignite this fresh start or maybe it is the connection to childhood memories that bring upon these autumn aspirations. September brought many surprises for me growing up; A new teacher or school, graduating from the thursday curling class to the tuesday one(I was quite the athlete), moving up a row in the SYC choir room and of course making new friends. I encourage you to make this September as exciting as it used to be instead of concentrating on the obvious stresses.

Next week at SAC we have our Annual Fall Registration and Fun Fair. We have over 60 different classes to choose from. Creative classes are good for people of all ages. If you are interested in signing your child up for an after school class consider dance, theatre or one of our many visual arts classes.

We have options for adults as well, enjoy a water colour class or learn the pottery wheel. Another option that SAC offers that not many people know about are our wellness classes. Take part in yoga, zumba, pilates and other fitness classes.

Events: Concert Series tickets will be on sale soon - so be sure to renew your ticket package or purchase a new one.

Volunteers: SAC is looking for brochure drop volunteers - great if you are looking for an excuse to go for a walk.
