Mennonite Heritage Village and Heartspace Writing School are inviting you to participate in a short writing workshop, Creating Living Legacies, this summer. Passing on stories, both orally and on paper, is a necessary and valuable tradition. It is in fact at the heart of our mission here at MHV.

Marigold took a workshop similar to this in March of 2012 and reports the following: “I loved it! Joanne Klassen, the workshop leader is passionate and experienced about the subject of writing your stories. The passion and energy she exudes made the experience rewarding and inspirational. As well, she helped build confidence that regardless of calling or talent, your life stories or other peoples’ life stories are always worth telling, even if just to a very small group of people. I highly recommend this workshop, especially in the environment of Mennonite Heritage Village.”

The workshop will take place on Friday July 26 from 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, July 27 from 8:30-4:30. For more information contact Marigold at [email protected] by July 5.
