May and June are the busiest months for our education program. Presumably these are prime months for school field trips. This year we hosted 976 students from 26 schools in the month of May. That’s an increase of 99 students and 3 schools over last year. We are expecting a significantly larger number of students in June.

During July and August we expect visits from a lot of day-care centres. We are also offering two Pioneer Day Camps. From July 14–18 we will host children 5–8 years of age. The August camp runs from August 11–15 and is intended for children ages 9–12. There are still openings for both of these camps. Registrations can be called in to Angela or Blayne at 204-326-9661. is Steinbach's only source for community news and information such as weather and classifieds.
