The MHV Auxiliary is planning another film night. Otto Klassen’s film The Great Trek: 1939-1945 will be shown in the Auditorium on Thursday, April 18, at 7:00 PM. Film nights typically serve a number of purposes. First and foremost, they tell stories from the history of the Russian Mennonites, which is a key part of the MHV mission. Secondly they create an occasion for historians and other friends of MHV to assemble, usually over a cup of coffee and a piece of pie, to discuss matters of common interest from these stories. Thirdly, they raise money for the support of MHV. Over the years, the Auxiliary has made many donations of cash, equipment and supplies which have enabled MHV to do its intended work. Please make this event a priority and mark it on your calendar.
