The Winnipeg Jets in conjunction with the National Hockey League and its national television partners today announced their national TV broadcast schedule for the 2011-12 NHL season.
 

The first-ever regular season game for the new franchise versus the Montreal Canadiens will be featured on CBC's Hockey Night in Canada on Sunday, Oct. 9th at 4 p.m. The Jets will appear on HNIC 21 times in total this season (10 games at MTS Centre, 11 away games), including five Southeast Divisional match-ups and three games against Canadian teams in the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal.

 
The Jets will also play five games on TSN's national network this season (two at home, three on the road). All five contests will be against Original Six teams, including Winnipeg's second game of the season in Chicago against the Blackhawks on Thursday, October 13th at 7:30 p.m. The Jets will also face Toronto, Boston, and the New York Rangers in nationally broadcast games on TSN.

 
At the same time, all Winnipeg Jets games will be televised this season, thanks to a regional television agreement which has yet to be announced.
