The Winnipeg Goldeyes five-game winning streak came to an end on Thursday night at Shaw Park. Winnipeg gave up five runs in the top of the sixth inning and seven in the ninth and lost 17-7 to the Sioux Falls Pheasants. Justin Bass drilled his team leading 11th homer of the season and Luis Ott had a pair of hits and three rbi. Brian Myrow had three doubles and raised his batting average to .321. The Goldeyes (35-22) are two games up on the St. Paul Saints in the race for first place in the American Association's North Division.
