Team West is still looking for it's first win at the 2012 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Windsor. Team West gave up two power play goals and dropped a 5-2 decision to the Czech Republic. Craig Leverton and Jonothan Martin did the goal scoring for Team West who trailed 2-1 after the first period and 3-2 after forty minutes. Austin Lotz faced 35 shots. Team West has an 0-2 preliminary round record and will face the United States on New Year's Day.
