We are approaching the four-month mark since Ryan Cody Maynard was reported missing and his family is desperate for answers.

The 29-year-old man was last seen on November 20th, 2023, along Cedar Crescent in Steinbach.

Since then, two searches were conducted in Steinbach which saw family, friends and strangers join RCMP in combing the community, looking for anything that might help them locate the man.

As January rolled around, his family had collected enough money to offer a $10,000 reward for information leading to Ryan’s whereabouts.

Now into March, his family is desperate for closure, hoping to find answers to many questions.

Allison Zaporozan, girlfriend of Ryan’s cousin, says it is hard not knowing where to find Ryan.

“I know that his daughter is really struggling,” says Zaporozan. “It’s been a really, really rough road for the family. And once again, if anybody knows anything, please come forward. At this point, we just want to bring his body home. That’s really all we want to do right now.”

While the family has lost hope of finding Ryan alive, RCMP report they have no information right now to suggest he’s met with foul play.

Zaporozan says Ryan was a good man with a big heart and his family misses him very much.

RCMP say they will plan another search if new information comes in to suggest a possible search area.
