Here's are the latest road conditions and cancellations as of 8:30 a.m.

The winter storm warning has ended.

At last word, residents of Marchand are still without electricity. The power went out around noon yesterday. Residents also say trees were snapping everywhere from the heavy, wet snow and strong wind.

MB Infrastructure and Transportation reports most highwasy in the Steinbach area are bare and wet and in good condition. It also reports Hwy 12, south of Steinbach and Hwy 1 east of Richer have snow covered and slippery sections.

Steinbach RCMP Traffic Services reports that Hwy 12 from Hwy 311 to Hwy 1, and Hwys 206 and 311 are reported as being snow covered with low visibility. Travel is not advised.

RCMP Falcon Lake Detachment reports multiple vehicle in the ditch along Hwy 1 east of Ste. Anne. Road conditions are reported as being ice packed, with sluch and poor visibility. Hwy 1, in both east and westbound lanes are reported to be down to one lane in some areas. Motorists are asked to avoid travel.

Classes are cancelled for students in Sprague, Vita and Pine Colony.

The Hanover Cross Country Run at AD Penner Park is cancelled.

Seine River school buses heading SOUTH are not running this morning.
