RCMP issued tickets to two different teenage motorists on Saturday for careless driving in the area of Steinbach Main Street.

In the first incident, Steinbach RCMP Municipal Traffic Services conducted a traffic stop on a red Pontiac where a 16-year-old driver was driving carelessly on Main Street. The vehicle was pulled over and the driver was issued a $672 ticket. The motorist also had his license sent to Manitoba Public Insurance for a review. 

That same day, another incident was reported where an 18-year-old was doing donuts at Solomon's parking lot. Steinbach RCMP Municipal Traffic Services located the driver and was issued a ticket for $672 for driving carelessly. His license was sent to Manitoba Public Insurance for a review.

Police say enforcement continued throughout the weekend and other tickets were issued for things like speeding and making unnecessary noise.
