A single-vehicle collision in the RM of La Broquerie is under investigation.

RCMP say the collision reportedly took place at 3:00 A.M. Sunday. Two males from the La Broquerie area, ages 21 and 23, were dropped off at the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The two individuals did not cooperate with officers at the hospital and refused to explain what had occurred.

However, officers later learned that a single vehicle had veered off Road 36 North and rolled into a cornfield in the RM of La Broquerie.

A nearby resident says the two somehow made it to their house following the collision and asked for help. It was then that they were taken to the hospital.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor and the matter is still under investigation.
