Some municipalities in the southeast have had enough of the current state of Highway #59. Ginette Lussier is the general manager of Eastman Regional Development and Eastern Manitoba Tourism Association. She tells us councils are wanting the province to twin Highway #59 all the way to the American border. Lussier says the province talks about doing this each time Highway #75 is flooded, however, when the waters recede, the talks die.
