Sultans Honoured by MJBL

The Carillon Sultans received two trophies during the Manitoba Junior Baseball League Awards Luncheon. Co-captains Nathan Christiuk and Jamieson Krentz accepted the Daryl Steen Trophy from League President Scott Neiles. The Daryl Steen Trophy is awarded annually to the league champions. Ken Krentz was named Manager of the Year. Krentz guided the Sultans to the 2011 MJBL championship just two years after the ballclub returned from a leave of abscence. Nathan Christiuk was selected the all-star catcher.
