The city of Steinbach will be spending about a thousand dollars a minute Saturday night.  It is spending more than ever before on the Canada Day fireworks.  Spokesperson Jake Siemens says the display Saturday night will take 24 man hours to set up and cost $12,000.00.  They will be trying out some new fireworks and the finale will be bigger.  Siemens says their crew has been going to school to learn how to put on a better show.  The best view of the fireworks will be from the Safeway and Canadian Tire parking lots as well as the Clearspring Centre parking lot.  The show will begin around 10:45 PM.
