The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce is celebrating growth, innovation, quality, commitment to community and so much more at their annual Business Excellence Awards ceremony Thursday evening.

Acting Executive Director Tessa Masi says it’s important to recognize and celebrate excellence.

“It's so fun to do the Business Excellence Awards because the businesses are working so hard to serve our community and it's great to celebrate with them when they're doing something awesome.”

Masi says it isn’t a lengthy event but it’s a great way for the local business community to connect.

“We have a chance to mix and mingle and get to know people that maybe you haven't met before, and then the President of the Chamber will give an address and then we have a chance to find out who, from the finalists, wins the awards.”

Interviews with all of this year’s Business Excellence Award winners will be available on SteinbachOnline and the SteinbachOnline app Friday.
